Job summary

TMF Group India is expanding in fund administration and regulatory reporting for Private Equity and AIF funds. The role focuses on end‑to‑end fund administration, onboarding, and oversight of NAV packs and financial statements, with direct client relationship management across multiple stakeholders.

You will guide 5–6 client relationships, mentor junior members, and drive process improvements and regulatory changes in a globally connected team.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands‑on experience in Fund Administration and Regulatory Reporting for Private Equity and AIF Category I & II funds.
  • Proven ability to handle complex fund structures, transactions, and reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated client management and relationship‑management experience in a service delivery environment.
  • Strong functional understanding of NAV, financial statements, waterfalls, capital accounting, and PCAP.
  • Excellent stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to work across cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience in mentoring and managing junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a functional subject matter expert for end‑to‑end fund administration and regulatory reporting across Private Equity and AIF Category I & II funds.
  • Analyze and understand complex operational, accounting, and regulatory issues and provide effective, practical solutions.
  • Lead new fund onboarding, transitions, and fund setup, including coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Manage investor onboarding, ensure accurate documentation, and oversee smooth operational integration.
  • Review and provide oversight on NAV packs, financial statements, waterfall calculations, PCAP, and other fund reporting for complex fund structures.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients, ensuring strong client engagement, timely communication, and issue resolution.
  • Seamlessly collaborate with internal teams, external service providers, auditors, and other counterparties to ensure consistent and high‑quality delivery.
  • Functionally own and manage 5–6 client relationships, ensuring adherence to SLAs and regulatory requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and guide junior team members, monitor their progress, and ensure skill development and delivery excellence.
  • Lead and execute projects associated with business expansion, process improvements, transitions, or regulatory changes, as required.

Key Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong hands‑on experience in Fund Administration and Regulatory Reporting for Private Equity and AIF Category I & II funds.
  • Proven ability to handle complex fund structures, transactions, and reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated client management and relationship‑management experience in a service delivery environment.
  • Strong functional understanding of NAV, financial statements, waterfalls, capital accounting, and PCAP.

  • Experience in mentoring and managing junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to fund accounting systems such as Investran, Archway, and Anaplan will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
