Job summary

TMF Group in Mumbai seeks a seasoned Fund Administration specialist to act as a functional SME for end-to-end regulatory reporting across Private Equity and AIF funds. You will lead onboarding, transitions, and fund setup, coordinating across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include managing investor onboarding, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering NAV packs, financial statements, and waterfall calculations.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in Fund Administration and Regulatory Reporting for PE and AIF funds.
  • Ability to handle complex fund structures and reporting requirements.
  • Strong client management and relationship management experience in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Review NAV packs, financial statements, waterfalls, PCAP, and fund reporting.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager with strong client engagement and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external providers, auditors and counterparties.
  • Own and manage 56 client relationships, ensuring SLA and regulatory compliance.
  • Train and mentor junior team members and oversee delivery excellence.
  • Lead projects around business expansion, process improvements, or regulatory changes.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as a functional subject matter expert for endtoend fund administration and regulatory reporting across Private Equity and AIF Category I & II funds.

  • Analyze and understand complex operational, accounting, and regulatory issues and provide effective, practical solutions.

  • Lead new fund onboarding, transitions, and fund setup, including coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Manage investor onboarding, ensure accurate documentation, and oversee smooth operational integration.

  • Review and provide oversight on NAV packs, financial statements, waterfall calculations, PCAP, and other fund reporting for complex fund structures.

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients, ensuring strong client engagement, timely communication, and issue resolution.

  • Seamlessly collaborate with internal teams, external service providers, auditors, and other counterparties to ensure consistent and highquality delivery.

  • Functionally own and manage 56 client relationships, ensuring adherence to SLAs and regulatory requirements.

  • Train, mentor, and guide junior team members, monitor their progress, and ensure skill development and delivery excellence.

  • Lead and execute projects associated with business expansion, process improvements, transitions, or regulatory changes, as required.


Key Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience



  • Strong handson experience in Fund Administration and Regulatory Reporting for Private Equity and AIF Category I & II funds.

  • Proven ability to handle complex fund structures, transactions, and reporting requirements.

  • Demonstrated client management and relationshipmanagement experience in a service delivery environment.

  • Strong functional understanding of NAV, financial statements, waterfalls, capital accounting, and PCAP.

  • Excellent stakeholdermanagement skills with the ability to work across crossfunctional and geographically distributed teams.

  • Experience in mentoring and managing junior team members.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Exposure to fund accounting systems such as Investran, Archway, and Anaplan will be an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
