Job summary

Jobtailor in Chennai, India is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and deploy production-quality code within a serverless, microservices architecture. You will contribute to test automation and cloud deployment across platforms, working with frontend and backend stacks to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience with Core Java, Spring Boot and React.js.
• Modern databases (Relational and non-relational).
• Continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as Tekton, Terraform, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, Harness, Apigee X.
• 2+ years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks: Frontend: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright; Backend: JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers, Spring Boot Test.
• Experience with Clean Code principles and design patterns (SOLID, DDD, etc.).
• Proficiency in code quality tools (SonarQube, ESLint, Prettier, Checkstyle).
• Understanding of refactoring techniques and legacy code improvement.
