Role Description

The Formulation Chemist will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating agrochemical formulations, including insecticides, fungicides, fertilizers, herbicides, and pest-control products. Day-to-day tasks include designing and conducting laboratory experiments, performing stability and compatibility studies, and documenting procedures and results in accordance with regulatory and internal quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with R&D, production, and quality teams to scale formulations from lab to manufacturing, troubleshooting formulation issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal, requiring regular presence in the laboratory and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret experimental data, assess product performance, and support decision-making.
• Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills and Formulation expertise to design experiments, prepare formulations, and handle agrochemical materials safely.
• Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to perform tests, ensure compliance with specifications, and maintain documentation for audits and certifications.
• Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) capabilities to explore new formulations, improve existing products, and contribute to innovation projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Chemistry, or a related field.
• Understanding of agrochemical regulations, safety standards, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in agrochemical, fertilizer, or related chemical formulation environments is an advantage.
