Job summary

Ultima Search is seeking an experienced formulation development professional to lead end-to-end development, optimization, scale-up and commercialization of agrochemical formulations across liquid, powder, gel, and granule forms.

The role requires hands-on development experience with agrochemical actives, solvents, carriers, surfactants and additives, plus collaboration with Production, QC, QA and Regulatory teams to ensure successful product launches.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in formulation development and commercial manufacturing.
• Familiarity with liquid, powder, gel and granule formulations.
• Experience in stability, viscosity, particle size and shelf-life studies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize liquid, powder, gel, granule and combination formulations.
• Handle agrochemical active ingredients, solvents, carriers, surfactants and additives.
• Conduct lab trials, pilot batches, scale-up and technology transfer to production.
• Troubleshoot formulation issues related to stability and shelf life.
• Collaborate with Production, QC, QA, Procurement and Regulatory teams for product development and commercialization.
• Optimize formulation cost, raw-material usage, yield and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain formulation documentation and study reports.

We are looking for the candidate who will be responsible

for the end-to-end development, optimization, scale-up and commercialization of liquid, powder, gel and granule formulations, working with various agrochemical technical-grade active ingredients and formulation additives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize liquid, powder, gel, granule and combination formulations.
• Handle and evaluate different agrochemical technical / active ingredients, solvents, carriers, surfactants and additives.
• Conduct laboratory trials, pilot batches, scale-up and technology transfer to production.
• Troubleshoot formulation issues related to stability, viscosity, separation, particle size, efficacy, moisture and shelf life.
• Work closely with Production, QC, QA, Procurement and Regulatory teams for product development and commercialization.
• Optimize formulation cost, raw-material usage, yield and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct stability, compatibility and performance studies and maintain formulation documentation.
