Job summary

JAC Recruitment is seeking a Production Manager to oversee agrochemical formulation manufacturing, scale-up from lab to commercial production, and coordination with contract manufacturers. You will monitor process performance, ensure SOP compliance, and drive improvements across sites in India.

With 10+ years in agrochemical manufacturing and a strong background in EC/SC/WP/WDG/oil dispersions, you will lead batch operations, equipment handling, and rigorous production documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in agrochemical formulation manufacturing.
• Educational background in Science or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience manufacturing herbicide, insecticide, fungicide, or pesticide formulations.
• Knowledge of EC, SC, WP, WDG, and oil dispersion formulations.
• Familiarity with plant operations, batch records, and production documentation.
• Experience in producing agrochemical formulations including various formulations.
• Experience in batch manufacturing, mixing, milling, granulation, drying, and packaging.
• Hands-on experience operating bead mills, mixers, granulators, and dryers.
• Knowledge of SOP compliance, quality standards, and production documentation.
• Experience in process monitoring, yield improvement, troubleshooting, and safety compliance.

The Production Manager role oversees agrochemical formulation manufacturing, plant operations, process scale-up, and contract manufacturing activities. The position manages commercialisation, manufacturing execution, process troubleshooting, and coordination with production partners to support efficient and compliant production operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation scale-up from laboratory development to commercial production

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in agrochemical formulation manufacturing


• Diploma, bachelor’s degree, or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Science or Chemical Engineering


• Experience manufacturing herbicide, insecticide, fungicide, or pesticide formulations


• Knowledge of emulsifiable concentrate, suspension concentrate, wettable powder, water-dispersible granule, and oil dispersion formulations


• Familiarity with plant operations, technology transfer, batch manufacturing records, and production documentation


• Experience producing agrochemical formulations, including water-dispersible granules, suspension concentrates, emulsifiable concentrates, oil dispersions, and wettable powders


• Experience in batch manufacturing, mixing, milling, granulation, drying, and packaging of agrochemicals
  
• Hands‑on experience operating bead mills, mixers, granulators, and dryers


• Knowledge of formulation processes, standard operating procedure compliance, quality standards, and production documentation


• Experience in process monitoring, yield improvement, troubleshooting, and environment, health and safety compliance within agrochemical plants


• Willingness to travel across India
