Independent Recruitment Consultant (Freelancer) in Mumbai seeks an experienced professional to manage end-to-end foreign remittance and international payments. The role requires hands-on expertise in forex, treasury, and banking coordination to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have exposure to freight forwarding or international trade, with strong RBI/FEMA regulatory understanding and the ability to coordinate with banks, tax, finance, and business teams.

Qualificações

• Strong hands-on experience in foreign remittances, forex, and treasury payments.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade preferred.
• Knowledge of FEMA and RBI regulations for cross-border transactions.
• Ability to coordinate with banks, finance, tax, and business teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end foreign remittance and international payment processes.
• Manage outward/inward remittances, payment tracking, bank coordination, forex rates, bank charges and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, purpose codes, remittance documentation and applicable tax/TDS requirements.
• Handle foreign currency accounting, FX gains/losses, vendor reconciliation and audit requirements.
• Act as SME/escalation point for complex foreign payment and banking issues.
• Create SOPs, strengthen controls and improve TAT, accuracy and cost efficiency of remittance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end foreign remittance and international payment processes, especially payments to overseas freight agents, shipping lines and international vendors
• Manage outward/inward remittances, payment tracking, bank coordination, forex rates, bank charges and reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, purpose codes, remittance documentation and applicable tax/TDS requirements
• Handle foreign currency accounting, FX gains/losses, vendor reconciliation and audit requirements
• Act as the SME/escalation point for complex foreign payment and banking issues
• Create SOPs, strengthen controls and improve TAT, accuracy and cost efficiency of remittance processes

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong hands-on experience in foreign remittances / forex / treasury international payments
• Preferably from freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, import-export or international trade
• Good understanding of FEMA, RBI regulations, banking processes and foreign currency transactions
• Should be capable of independently handling complex transactions and coordinating with banks, finance, tax and business teams
