About the Role

We are looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant member to manage the day-to-day operations at the Garden Grub counter. The candidate will be responsible for handling customers, taking orders, managing billing and payments, coordinating with the kitchen team, and ensuring smooth and efficient counter operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a friendly and professional experience.
• Take customer orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen team for timely preparation.
• Handle cash, UPI, card, and other payment transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Generate bills and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Maintain daily sales and payment records and share the required end-of-day collection report.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are served correctly and on time.
• Handle customer queries, feedback, and basic complaints professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the counter area.
• Monitor basic stock levels of packaging materials, beverages, and other counter essentials and report shortages.
• Ensure proper handover of cash, records, and pending orders at the end of the shift.
• Follow all company SOPs related to billing, cash handling, hygiene, and customer service.
• Support the team in other day-to-day café operations as required.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in counter handling, café, restaurant, QSR, retail, or hospitality operations preferred.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems and digital payment methods.
• Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Presentable, responsible, and punctual.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
