Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating Flow Wrap Packaging Machines in FMCG or packaging.
• Experience with automated packaging equipment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Flow Wrap Packaging Machines to meet production targets.
• Perform routine setup for different product sizes and packaging materials.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with maintenance for major repairs and ensure machine reliability.

Position Overview

Goeld Frozen Foods is seeking an experienced Flow Wrap Machine Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain automated flow wrap packaging machines used in frozen food packaging. The ideal candidate should possess strong machine operation skills, troubleshooting abilities, and sound knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical systems to ensure smooth production and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

• Operate and monitor Flow Wrap Packaging Machines to achieve production targets.
• Set up machines for different product sizes, packaging materials, and production requirements.
• Ensure proper feeding, sealing, cutting, and wrapping of products.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain packaging quality standards.

Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine machine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Replace worn-out machine components when required.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team for major repairs and breakdowns.

Mechanical Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot machine components including:
  • Bearings
  • Shafts
  • Chain Drives
  • Gear Boxes
  • Rollers
  • Belts and Sprockets
• Ensure proper lubrication and alignment of moving parts.
• Monitor machine vibration, noise, and performance for early fault detection.

Electrical & Temperature Control Monitoring

• Basic understanding and monitoring of:
  • Electrical Heaters
  • Temperature Controllers
  • Sealing Temperature Settings
  • Sensors and Control Panels
• Ensure sealing temperatures are maintained as per product specifications.
• Report electrical abnormalities to the maintenance department promptly.

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating Flow Wrap Packaging Machines in the food, FMCG, frozen food, or packaging industry.
• Experience with automated packaging equipment is highly preferred.
