Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations and ensure smooth store functioning.
• Monitor daily sales performance against budgeted targets and LFL growth.
• Supervise, guide, and motivate staff to achieve targets and productivity.
• Ensure proper product displays, merchandising, pricing, and promotions.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment for optimum inventory.
• Coordinate with buying, warehouse, and store ops for timely product availability.
• Monitor competitor activities and share insights with senior management.
• Handle customer complaints and escalations to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor attendance, grooming, productivity, shifts, and policy adherence.
• Ensure store presentation, cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
• Analyze sales reports, stock movement, and staff performance for improvements.
• Conduct floor inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with inventory, cashiering, and other departments for day-to-day ops.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and staff.
• Support management in achieving sales growth, customer experience, and profitability.

Job Summary

The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales performance, managing floor staff, and maintaining store standards. The role involves monitoring sales targets, supervising employees, ensuring product availability, implementing promotional activities, and coordinating with various departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations and ensure smooth store functioning.
• Monitor daily sales performance against budgeted targets in terms of quantity, value, and Like-for-Like (LFL) growth.
• Supervise, guide, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high productivity.
• Ensure proper product displays, visual merchandising, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment to maintain optimum inventory levels.
• Coordinate with the buying team, warehouse, and store operations team to ensure timely product availability.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and brand availability, and share insights with senior management.
• Handle customer complaints and escalations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, productivity, shift allocation, and adherence to company policies.
• Ensure proper store presentation, cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
• Analyze sales reports, stock movement, and staff performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct regular floor inspections and implement corrective actions wherever required.
• Coordinate with inventory, cashiering, and other departments for smooth day-to-day operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales performance, inventory, and staff productivity.
• Support management in achieving sales growth, improving customer experience, and maximizing profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Relevant experience in retail operations, sales, floor supervision, or store management.
• Previous experience in team handling and sales target management will be an advantage.

Salary Budget

Rs 35,000-Rs 45,000 per month, based on experience and suitability for the role.
