The Floor Coordinator will be responsible for managing floor-level hospital operations, patient coordination, staff follow‑up, room readiness, and interdepartmental communication. This requires strong communication skills, service orientation, hospital workflow knowledge, and problem‑solving ability. The candidate will coordinate with nursing, doctors, billing, housekeeping, diagnostics, pharmacy, and support teams to ensure smooth patient flow and a positive inpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and patient services on the assigned hospital floor.
• Monitor admissions, discharges, transfers, room readiness, and floor‑level workflow.
• Coordinate with nursing, doctors, billing, pharmacy, diagnostics, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
• Address patient and attendant queries, concerns, and service requests professionally.
• Conduct regular floor rounds to check cleanliness, staff availability, patient support, and facility readiness.
• Support discharge coordination by following up with billing, pharmacy, nursing, and consultants.
• Maintain floor reports, patient feedback records, complaint logs, and operational trackers.
• Ensure hospital policies, safety standards, visitor rules, and service protocols are followed.
• Identify delays, service gaps, or coordination issues and resolve them proactively.
• Coordinate room shifting, bed management, attendant guidance, and patient support activities.
• Assist in emergency coordination and inform relevant teams immediately.
• Monitor housekeeping, pantry, security, and support staff performance on the assigned floor.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior operations or administration teams when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital communication.
• Promote patient satisfaction, smooth communication, and professional service delivery.
