Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced PLM Program Manager to lead large-scale Product Lifecycle Management initiatives with a focus on FlexPLM. You will drive end-to-end program delivery, governance, and multi-workstream coordination across global teams.

The role requires deep retail/fashion PLM domain knowledge, strong leadership, and expertise in managing complex programs with stakeholders from business and IT. Hybrid/onsite option in India may apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Delivery lead in PLM implementations, esp. FlexPLM.
• Strong PLM lifecycle knowledge and retail domain workflows.
• Experience leading large-scale, multi-year transformation programs.
• Expertise in governance, budgeting, risk and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PLM program delivery across multi-workstreams.
• Define and manage program roadmap, governance, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams and vendors to align on objectives.
• Drive business process transformation leveraging PLM best practices.
• Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical designs.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams including BAs, Architects, Developers and QA.
• Manage multiple projects within the program, handling dependencies and risks.
• Establish governance, reporting frameworks and KPIs to track outcomes.
• Lead UAT strategy, execution and sign-offs.
• Drive change management, user adoption and training across global teams.
• Act as escalation point for risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor solutions post-implementation for continuous PLM optimization.
• Stay updated on PLM trends and FlexPLM enhancements.

Job Description: FlexPLM Program Manager

We are looking for an experienced PLM Program Manager to lead and drive large-scale Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives, with a strong focus on solutions like FlexPLM. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in retail/fashion PLM processes and demonstrate strong leadership in delivering complex, multi-workstream programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Have 15+ years of experience with deep expertise in retail business processes and in leading end-to-end PLM program delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful rollout across business units.


• Define and manage program roadmap, governance structure, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather and align on strategic objectives and business requirements.


• Drive business process transformation and standardization leveraging PLM best practices.


• Oversee translation of business requirements into functional and technical solution designs, ensuring scalability and alignment with enterprise architecture.


• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams.


• Manage multiple projects/workstreams within the program, ensuring dependencies, risks, and deliverables are effectively handled.


• Establish and enforce program governance, reporting frameworks, and KPIs to track progress and business outcomes.


• Lead UAT strategy, execution oversight, and stakeholder sign-offs to ensure high-quality deliverables.


• Ensure successful change management, user adoption, and training strategies across global teams.


• Act as a primary escalation point for program risks and issues, driving timely resolution.


• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring implemented solutions and optimizing PLM capabilities.


• Stay current with PLM trends, FlexPLM enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in a Program Manager or Senior Delivery role in PLM implementations, especially FlexPLM.


• Strong understanding of PLM principles, lifecycle processes, and retail domain workflows.


• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-year transformation programs.


• Expertise in program governance, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage distributed and cross-functional teams.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills.


• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
