Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru seeks an experienced FlexPLM specialist to implement, integrate and migrate data within the FlexPLM suite. You will work across cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable FlexPLM solutions.

The role requires strong skills in deployment, configuration, testing and technical documentation, with a focus on delivering value and resolving complex issues for the business.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture and develop FlexPLM solutions
• Communicate issues clearly and propose alternatives
• Analyze business goals within FlexPLM and related tools
• Create/review technical, system and user documentation
• Collaborate with product vendor for issue resolution
• Support AMS teams to troubleshoot FlexPLM incidents
• Assist end-user training and mentoring
• Support system administration activities (patches, builds)
• Provide project system build support (servers/databases/storage)
• Resolve PTC cases and drive solutions
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication

Job description

Required Technical Skill Set (Primary):

FlexPLM 11.1++, 12.03 System Implementation covering Configurations, Business Administration, Customizations, Integrations with Legacy applications

Desired Experience Range:

4-16 years

Must-Have:

• FlexPLM application implementation
• Should have experience on –
• FlexPLM Integrations with Legacy/third party applications
• Data migration from legacy systems to FlexPLM systems
• Knowledge on code deployment and configuration changes, software installation
• Unit testing & reporting
• Technical Documentation

Good-to-Have:

• Exposure to Retail Business processes
• Experience in Agile way of working

Expectations from this Role:

• Comfortable working within cross-functional teams, understanding requirements, designing, and developing solutions in FlexPLM suite of applications
• Effectively communicate issues and alternative solutions. Takes initiative to achieve value added results and improve upon solutions offered.
• Analyze business goals, rules, and processes across various information systems tools and technologies specifically within PTC FlexPLM system.
• Design architecture, solutions for implementing new FlexPLM set up / solutioning
• Create and review technical/system/testing/user documentations
• Work with Product vendor for product related issue resolution
• Provide support to AMS teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and problems within the FlexPLM system.
• Provide support to end user training and mentoring.
• Support application architecture and software upgrades.
• Provide support to System Administration activities in deploying Server Patches, FlexPLM build activities, etc.
• Provide Project System Build Support: install and manage server/storage/database/apps for FlexPLM project work, backup/restore and cloning production environment
• Provide PTC Case Resolution: own tough issues and facilitate/drive for PTC solutions
