Job summary

Swiggy is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the delivery fleet in the assigned city/zone. You will ensure rider availability, optimize dispatch, monitor SLA, and drive cost efficiency while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role involves field visits, performance dashboards, onboarding and retention of Delivery Executives, and coordinating with Operations, City Managers, Customer Support, and Warehousing to ensure seamless delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a fleet of 500850 Delivery Executives (DEs) across assigned zones.
• Ensure adequate rider availability to meet demand during peak and non-peak hours.
• Monitor fleet productivity, delivery SLA, order completion rate, and turnaround time.
• Plan and optimize rider scheduling, allocation, and dispatch.
• Conduct regular field visits, audits, and rider engagement activities.
• Resolve Delivery Executive grievances related to payouts, attendance, app issues, and governance.
• Drive rider onboarding, retention, reactivation, and reduce voluntary attrition.
• Coach and train Delivery Executives on operational SOPs, customer experience, and safety standards.
• Analyze operational dashboards and identify opportunities to improve cost, speed, and service levels.
• Coordinate with Operations, City Managers, Customer Support, and Warehouse teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Handle on-ground escalations, strikes, and service disruptions with minimal business impact.
• Share market intelligence and support new product or process launches.
