Job summary

CIEL HR in India is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to lead field teams and delivery partners across a defined zone. You will balance field visits with calling activities, onboard new delivery personnel, and ensure successful first orders for new hires.

Maintain active engagement with 40+ DEs daily, monitor fleet performance, address escalations, collect market insights, and drive activation and retention efforts. This role requires extensive travel and a valid bike for field work.

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years of experience managing blue-collar workforce, field operations, logistics, sales, or operations
• Strong people management and supervisory skills
• Good knowledge of the local geography and fluency in the local language
• Go-getter attitude with excellent problem-solving ability
• Customer-focused with good communication skills
• Basic MS Excel knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

• 75% Field Work & 25% Calling Activities
• Onboard a minimum of 2 Delivery Executives (DEs) daily
• Ensure First Order Delivery (FOD) completion for newly onboarded DEs
• Conduct engagement meetings with 40+ Delivery Executives every day
• Manage and support a fleet of approximately 500 delivery partners
• Handle on-ground issues, escalations, strikes, and retention activities
• Collect competitor earning data and market insights
• Drive activation, engagement, and performance improvement
• Take complete ownership of the assigned zone
• Must be comfortable with extensive field travel (own bike is mandatory)
