Job summary

Seligo Consultants is seeking a Fleet & Logistics Operations Specialist to monitor movement, optimize costs, and coordinate with drivers, transporters, and warehouse partners across the Ghaziabad district.

You will manage vehicle utilization, track routes and performance, and prepare MIS reports using Excel, Google Sheets, and Power BI. Strong analytical and negotiation skills are essential, with willingness to travel locally to warehouses and depots.

Responsibilities

• Monitor movement and utilization of company-owned and hired vehicles.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely dispatches and deliveries.
• Track vehicle routes, trip status, and turnaround time.
• Maintain vehicle movement records and operational reports.
• Track fuel efficiency, mileage, and operating costs.
• Monitor preventive maintenance, servicing, repairs, and breakdowns.
• Identify opportunities to optimize fleet performance and reduce operating expenses.
• Coordinate with transporters for trip-based and dedicated vehicle requirements.
• Negotiate freight rates and ensure timely vehicle availability.
• Evaluate transporter performance and maintain vendor relationships.
• Monitor warehouse utilization, infrastructure, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with warehouse partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Conduct periodic warehouse inspections and recommend operational improvements.
• Ensure warehouse hygiene, temperature control, cold chain standards, and compliance with SOPs and food safety requirements.
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards covering fleet, fuel, warehouse, and transporter performance.
• Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation and support operational audits and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, warehouse partners, drivers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of fleet, transportation, warehouse, and logistics operations.
• Excellent MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and dashboards.
• Working knowledge of Google Sheets; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in cold chain or temperature-controlled logistics will be preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally for warehouse and transporter visits.
