Job summary

SAMSUNG E&A is seeking an experienced Engineer – Fired Equipment for the Petrochemical/Oil & Gas EPC sector. The role involves engineering and reviewing fired heaters, boilers, incinerators, flare stacks, WHB, HRSG and WHRU, with EPC/FEED proposals experience.

You will review MDS, material requisitions, and vendor prints, and participate in 3D model reviews, HAZOP, and FAT/SAT activities while coordinating with clients and vendors. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering and review of Fired Heaters, Boilers, Incinerators, Flare Stacks, WHB, HRSG & WHRU.
• Experience in EPC / FEED / Proposals for fired equipment.
• ITB review, technical query preparation, risk analysis & value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, shop inspection, site construction, commissioning & punch-point closure.
• Coordination with Clients, PMC, Licensors, Vendors and internal project teams.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and lead project team members.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Engineer – Fired Equipment with strong experience in the Petrochemical / Oil & Gas EPC industry.

• Engineering and review of Fired Heaters, Boilers, Incinerators, Flare Stacks, WHB, HRSG & WHRU
• Experience in EPC / FEED / Proposals for fired equipment
• ITB review, technical query preparation, risk analysis & value engineering
• Review of MDS, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations & Vendor Prints
• Troubleshooting, shop inspection, site construction, commissioning & punch-point closure
• Strong knowledge of Burners, Refractories, Fans, Blowers, Lube Oil Systems, Air Preheaters & auxiliary systems
• Knowledge of Combustion, Emissions, Instruments, Controls & Logics
• Participation in 3D Model Reviews, HAZOP, FAT & SAT
• Coordination with Clients, PMC, Licensors, Vendors and internal project teams
• Ability to provide technical guidance and lead project team members
• Knowledge of relevant standards including API 560, API 530, ASME Section I, ASME Section VIII & ASME B31.3
• Exposure to DeNOx, DeSOx, ESP, CFD, FEA, Thermal Rating, Structural Analysis and 3D Modelling will be an added advantage.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Overseas Assignment: Willingness to undertake assignments of up to 6 months at overseas headquarters, vendor shops and project sites.
