Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru seeks a senior engineer with 6–9 years in conceptual studies, FEED and detailed engineering for Oil & Gas, refinery, and petrochemical projects. You will interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, quality design deliverables across static equipment, vessels and piping.

Strong knowledge of API/ASME codes, brown/green field experience and hands-on capability in MTO, reviews and planning are required to drive efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in Conceptual study, FEED and Detailed Engineering in Oil & Gas, Refinery & Petrochemical.
• Knowledge of International Codes and Standards (API/ASME).
• Able to coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure On Time Quality Deliverable: static equipment, vessels, piping and structural design.
• Conduct design reviews and review vendor drawings and MTO.
• Plan, track progress and report milestones with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support green and brown field projects with rigorous planning and control.
• Engage in engineering analysis with a practical implementation mindset.

Job description

• Minimum 6-9 years of experience in Conceptual study, FEED, Detailed Engineering Projects in Oil & Gas, Refinery & Petrochemical Industry complying with the client’s specifications & International Codes and Standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in mechanical engineering / chemical engineering with sound knowledge of Petrochemical / Refinery / Power plant system design and detailing.
• Experience in Brown field projects
• Exposure to API and ASME Codes & Standards in the industry
• Capable of handling Engineering projects from prospecting stage to after delivery support with economical and efficient engineering as per KPI.
• Co-ordinate with cross functional teams to ensure On Time Quality Deliverable. i.e Static Equipment/Vessel Design, Rotating Equipment Design, Piping Design, Structural design, Electrical, Instrumentation, Site and Fabrication Team.
• Co-Ordinate with Client, Consultants, Vendors & Contractors.
• Conduct Design reviews, Review Vendor drawings & Material Take-Off (MTO).
• Projects Analysis, defining milestones, planning activities, tracking progress and co-ordination with external and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
• Planning, Performance Monitoring & Control, Vendor/Contractor proposal review and project progress reports of Green and brown field projects.
• Hands on experience in engineering & analysis in large MNC's and Engineering Consultants.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills with the ability to move cleanly from theoretical to implementation thinking.
