EXTINCT FIRE Engineers seeks an experienced Site In-Charge to oversee the execution of fire fighting system installations at project sites across India. You will supervise day-to-day activities, manage manpower, coordinate materials, ensure quality and safety, and drive timely completion.

The role requires reading drawings, selecting suitable piping and equipment, and coordinating with project managers, consultants, clients and subcontractors. Travel to site locations across India is expected.

Competenze

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience of 5-8 years in Fire Fighting Execution.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

We are looking for an experienced Site In-Charge to manage and supervise the execution of fire fighting system installation at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, manpower management, material coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and timely completion of project activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and supervise day-to-day fire fighting installation and execution activities at project sites.
2. Execute fire fighting systems such as:
   

• Fire Hydrant System
• Sprinkler System
• Fire Hose Reel System
• Fire Pump Room Installation
• Fire Alarm System (coordination, if applicable)
• Fire Suppression Systems
• Read and interpret fire fighting drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Ensure installation of MS/GI/CPVC piping, valves, pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, and related equipment as per approved drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, contractors, and other departments.
• Manage site manpower, technicians, subcontractors, and daily work allocation.
• Monitor material requirements, consumption, and availability at site.
• Ensure quality standards and compliance with relevant NFPA and NBC requirements.
• Conduct pressure testing, flushing, hydro testing, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), material reports, and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with site safety rules and work permits.
• Resolve site-related technical issues and ensure timely project completion.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 58 years of experience in Fire Fighting Execution.
• Strong knowledge of fire fighting systems and installation practices.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience in manpower and material management.
• Knowledge of NFPA and NBC standards.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel or work at project locations across India.
