Job summary

M3M is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer MEP (Fire Fighting) to lead on-site execution for high-rise residential and commercial projects. You will oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and quality control of fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and codes.

The role requires coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors and project teams, reviewing drawings and BOQs, and driving timely completion while maintaining safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Manage site execution of fire-fighting systems for high-rise residential and commercial buildings.
• Supervise installation of fire-fighting pipelines, sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, landing valves, and fire suppression systems.
• Review and interpret approved MEP drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, project execution teams, and other MEP disciplines to ensure smooth site execution.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure timely completion of work as per project schedules and milestones.
• Ensure installation quality, workmanship, and compliance with applicable NBC provisions, relevant NFPA standards, and local fire department requirements.
• Conduct inspections and oversee pressure testing, flushing, hydrostatic testing, and commissioning of fire-fighting systems.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of fire pumps, sprinkler networks, hydrant systems, and associated equipment.
• Identify site discrepancies, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely closure of snags and observations.
• Verify material specifications, quantities, and installation as per approved drawings and project requirements.
• Maintain inspection reports, testing records, material approvals, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, safety, planning, and project teams to achieve project targets.
• Support statutory inspections and coordination for fire safety approvals and compliance documentation.
