Apex Group Ltd (India Branch) is seeking a Financial Reporting - Workiva Implementation Specialist to join our growing team in Pune. You will build, review and implement financial reports within the Workiva platform, translating client Excel/Word sources into polished client-ready statements.

The role requires hands-on Workiva experience, strong financial reporting knowledge, and excellent formatting and data-linking skills.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and AFS.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Word; advanced formatting skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement financial reports in Workiva using client Excel/Word sources.
• Build and maintain reports from scratch within Workiva.
• Prepare and review Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and other reports.
• Replicate prior-year statements and formatting with accuracy.
• Manage document formatting, tables, notes, and cross-references.
• Import Excel/Word documents into Workiva and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform quality checks and reviews before client delivery.
• Coordinate with onshore teams, clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Define reporting timelines and manage multiple deadlines.
• Train and mentor team members on Workiva implementation.
• Ensure adherence to client requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Reporting - Workiva Implementation Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing, reviewing, and implementing financial reports within the Workiva platform. This position requires strong financial reporting knowledge, hands-on Workiva experience, and exceptional document implementation and formatting skills.

The role involves building reports from scratch, replicating financial statements, managing report implementation activities, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality client reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement financial reports in Workiva using client-provided Excel and Word source files.
• Build and maintain reports from scratch within Workiva without relying on pre-built templates.
• Prepare and review Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and other financial reports.
• Replicate prior-year financial statements and report formatting with a high degree of accuracy.
• Manage document formatting, tables, notes, page layouts, headers, footers, cross-references, and data linking.
• Import and implement Excel and Word documents into Workiva.
• Troubleshoot formatting and implementation issues within Workiva.
• Perform quality checks and detailed reviews before client delivery.
• Coordinate with onshore teams, clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure project completion.
• Define reporting timelines and manage multiple deadlines in a production-driven environment.
• Train, mentor, and support team members on Workiva implementation and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure adherence to client requirements, quality standards, and reporting deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 2-10 years of experience in Financial Reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Workiva (Wdesk).
• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Annual Financial Statements (AFS).
• Strong experience importing and implementing Excel and Word documents in Workiva.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Strong document formatting and report-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Fund Administration or Financial Services industry.
• Experience working with Annual Reports, Statutory Financial Statements, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Prior experience training, mentoring, or managing team members.
• Knowledge of financial reporting best practices and quality review processes.
