Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Financial Reporting Associate in Bengaluru to review and consolidate financial statements across hedge funds, private equity, and real estate, applying IFRS/US GAAP/UK GAAP as needed.

You will establish standardized FR processes, manage a high-volume team, and drive staff training and development to ensure top-tier client service. A professional accounting qualification and strong MS Excel/Word skills are required.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification required (CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA Finance/CFA or equivalent).
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills essential.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.
• Experience in Financial Reporting across hedge funds, PE, real estate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop procedures to standardize the financial reporting process and improve efficiency.
• Lead and manage a team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with accuracy.
• Provide ongoing training and development for team members to maintain client service standards.
• Collaborate across teams to set goals and KPIs for the FR function.

Do you have Financial reporting experience, and are you seeking a new job? Apex Group is looking for a full-time Financial Reporting Associate, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package, including the chance to join an inclusive and collaborative company.

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will review the financial statements of Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate, Manco, etc. Etc. in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Lux GAAP and Canadian GAAP.

In your first few weeks in this Financial Services role, you can expect to:

• Develop document and institute procedures to make the FR process more efficient and standardized, saving time and money
• Manage a team in a high-volume, deadline and production-driven environment while maintaining 100% accuracy
• Provide ongoing and continuous training, motivation and development of all team members to maintain high client service standards
• Use resources within the team, establishing goals and objectives of the team
• New hiring, process training for new staff, people issues, performance management, KPIs etc.

Role

To apply for this Financial Reporting role, you will need a professional qualification, CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in accounting. You will also require the following:

• 8-12 years in Financial Reporting
• Experience of Financial Reporting in Hedge Fund
• Experience in IFRS/US GAAP is preferred
• Manual experience in financial reporting is preferred instead of using automation tools
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Adaptability and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
