Job summary

Apex Group in India is seeking an Analyst in Financial Reporting to prepare and validate data for financial statements across multiple GAAPs. You will contribute to accurate reporting under IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, and Canadian GAAP.

You will work closely with onshore teams, clients, auditors, and senior stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant deliverables and respond to complex queries with precision and independence.

Qualifications

  • Educational qualifications include CA/CPA/ACCA or MBA (Finance) or CFA.
  • 1-4 years in Financial Reporting; hedge fund reporting preferred.
  • Exposure to IFRS and/or US GAAP financial reporting preferred.

  • Prepare financial statements for Hedge Funds, Private Equity funds, Real Estate entities, ManCo.
  • Prepare and review statements under IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, Canadian GAAP.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements.
  • Independently resolve accounting and reporting queries raised by onshore teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with auditors and senior stakeholders.

Job description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Receive, validate, and analyze required data for the preparation of financial statements.

Prepare financial statements for various investment structures, including: Hedge Funds Private Equity funds Real Estate entities Management Companies (ManCo), etc.

Prepare and review financial statements under multiple GAAP frameworks, primarily: IFRS US GAAP UK GAAP Luxembourg GAAP Canadian GAAP.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements.

Independently resolve accounting and reporting queries raised by: Onshore teams Clients Auditors Directors / Senior stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience

Educational Qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA MBA (Finance) CFA Any specialized qualification/course in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: 1-4 years of experience in Financial Reporting Prior experience in Hedge Fund Financial Reporting is preferred Exposure to IFRS and/or US GAAP financial reporting is preferred Hands-on/manual experience in financial statement preparation is preferred over the use of automated reporting tools.

Skills Required
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements.
  • Good knowledge of capital markets and derivatives.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Adaptability to dynamic work environments and changing requirements.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
