Job summary

Apex Group in Bengaluru is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join its expanding team. You will prepare financial statements across hedge funds, private equity, real estate and more, using IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and other GAAPs.

Ideal candidates hold CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA(Finance)/CFA or related accounting qualification, with 1–4 years in Financial Reporting, strong MS Excel/Word skills, and knowledge of capital markets and derivatives.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA Finance/CFA) or equivalent.
• 1–4 years in Financial Reporting.
• Experience with Hedge Funds and IFRS/US GAAP reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate, and Manco in multiple GAAPs.
• Receive and process data from Onshore, Client, Auditor, and Director.
• Resolve queries and support external audit activities.

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will receive a receipt of the required data to prepare financial statements.

In your first week in this Financial Reporting role, you can expect to:

• Prepare financial statements of Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate, Manco, etc., in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Lux GAAP and Canadian GAAP
• Receive required data for the preparation of financial statements in multiple GAAPs
• Resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Role

To apply for this Financial Reporting role, you will need a professional qualification, CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in accounting. You will also require the following:

• 1-4 years in Financial Reporting
• Experience of Financial Reporting in Hedge Fund
• Manual experience of reporting in IFRS/US GAAP is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of capital market and derivatives.
