Job summary

Apex Group in Hyderabad is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to review financial statements for Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Real Estate entities across GAAP frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, and Canadian GAAP. You will prepare and analyze statements based on provided data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting/Finance required or related professional qualification.
• Experience reviewing financial statements for Hedge Funds, Private Equity funds, Real Estate entities and similar structures across multiple GAAP frameworks.
• Excellent MS Excel and MS Word; strong time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop document and institute procedures to make the FR process more efficient and standardized, saving time and money.
• Manage a team in a high-volume, deadline and production-driven environment while maintaining 100% accuracy.
• Provide ongoing and continuous training, motivation and development of all team members to maintain high client service standards.
• Use resources within the team, establishing goals and objectives of the team.
• New hiring, process training for new staff, people issues, performance management, KPIs etc.
• Manage a team and deadline and be effective in a production-driven environment while maintaining 100% accuracy.
• Train the team to ensure quality services to clients.
• Define the timeline of financial statements onshore.
• Resolve queries raised by Onshore, Clients, Auditors, and Director.
• Experience in Financial Reporting
• Experience of Financial Reporting in Hedge Funds
• Manual experience of reporting in IFRS/US GAAP is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Adaptability in MS Excel and MS Word.

Education

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will review financial statements for Hedge Funds, Private Equity funds, Real Estate entities and similar structures across multiple GAAP frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, and Canadian GAAP. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements based on the provided data, as well as conducting thorough reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
