Job summary

Apex Group invites an Associate to join our accounting team. The role covers end-to-end bookkeeping, preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements, with exposure to IFRS and US GAAP across multiple GAAPs and jurisdictions.

You will analyze bank transactions, process invoices, and handle payroll accounting while supporting queries from clients and auditors. This is a global, expanding business—great for career growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified accounting professional with IFRS/US GAAP exposure.
• Experience in end-to-end bookkeeping and preparation of statements.

Responsibilities

• Receive data for Book-Keeping and primary statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-flows, notes).
• Analyze bank transactions and process on accounting platform/excel.
• Process invoices, expenses and other transactions.
• Understand accrued/prepaid expenses, FAR and revaluations.
• Track cash, capital and dividend movements.
• Reconcile AP and AR including inter-company transactions.
• Assist in trial balance finalization.
• Prepare and report periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs (IFRS/US GAAP).
• Exposure to payroll accounting, journal postings and VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Resolve queries from Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification And Experience

• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)
