Job description

Role Overview:

As a Financial Controller based in Delhi NCR, you will serve as the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring the integrity of our fiscal health while driving strategic growth. You will oversee the end-to-end accounting lifecycle, bridging the gap between complex financial data and actionable business insights. Working closely with the leadership team, department heads, and external auditors, you will act as a key advisor on fiscal policy and risk mitigation. Your work will directly influence the company bottom line by optimizing cash flow, ensuring rigorous compliance, and providing the financial modeling necessary to support high-stakes decision-making in a fast-paced market environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes to provide stakeholders with accurate, transparent, and timely insights into business performance.
  • Manage the end-to-end statutory audit process, coordinating with external partners to ensure full regulatory compliance and minimize organizational risk.
  • Design and implement robust internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records across all departments.
  • Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial targets with long-term organizational objectives.
  • Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, operational efficiency, and potential market risks, enabling data-driven strategic planning.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance, to ensure operational excellence and fiscal discipline.
Required Skillset:
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex financial reporting and statutory audit cycles within a high-growth corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain rigorous internal control systems that mitigate operational and financial risks effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting, with a track record of translating complex data into clear, strategic narratives for executive stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate financial complexities to non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.
  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred, complemented by a deep understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • High level of adaptability and professional maturity, with the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • 6 – 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, demonstrating a consistent trajectory of increasing responsibility and leadership.
