Reporting to the CFO/MD, you will drive working capital management, oversee consolidation, and provide insights to support executive decision-making. This role demands strategic leadership of the finance team and a focus on process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across all business units/entities.
• Oversee accuracy in general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, and fixed asset registers.
• Direct the preparation and consolidation of accurate Balance Sheets, P&L Statements, and Cash Flow Statements per GAAP/IFRS/Ind AS.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits with external audit firms and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local tax provisions and labor laws, and oversee statutory filing requirements.
• Direct working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning.
• Lead annual budget planning, expense monitoring, and rolling quarterly forecasts; deliver MIS reports to executives.
• Mentor the finance team and drive ERP enhancements and reporting improvements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an exceptional, strategic Financial Controller to lead our end‑to‑end financial operations, internal control frameworks, regulatory compliance, and books finalization. Reporting directly to the CFO/MD, the Financial Controller serves as the chief accounting officerensuring financial precision, driving working capital efficiency, safeguarding assets, and translating financial data into commercial insights for executive decision‑making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Operations & Books Close

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across all business units/entities.
• Oversee accuracy in general ledger accounting, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), inventory accounting, and fixed asset registers.
• Direct the preparation and consolidation of accurate Balance Sheets, P&L Statements, and Cash Flow Statements in accordance with relevant Accounting Standards (GAAP / IFRS / Ind AS).

2. Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Design, implement, and monitor robust internal financial controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Manage internal, statutory, and tax auditsserving as the primary liaison for external audit firms and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure strict corporate compliance with local tax provisions (Direct & Indirect), labor laws, and statutory filing regulations.

3. Treasury, Cash Flow & Banking

• Direct working capital management, short/long‑term cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning.
• Manage banking limits, credit facilities, term loans, and covenant compliance.
• Optimize treasury operations, credit control policies, and vendor payment schedules.

4. Budgeting, FP&A & MIS

• Lead annual budget planning, operational expense monitoring, and rolling quarterly financial forecasts.
• Deliver comprehensive, qualitative weekly and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to executive leadership.
• Perform budget vs. actual variance analyses, product/service margin reviews, and operational cost‑saving evaluations.

5. Strategic Leadership & Team Mentorship

• Lead, mentor, and build a high‑performing finance and accounting team.
• Drive digital transformation by enhancing ERP workflows, accounting systems, and reporting tools.
