Job summary

Search Advisers Services Guj seeks a Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years PQ to lead end-to-end GL accounting, month-end and year-end closing, and financial statement preparation in Bengaluru. You will ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, perform reconciliations, and coordinate audits while improving processes and controls.

The role requires strong Excel skills and experience with SAP/Oracle ERP, with collaboration across finance teams and auditors to deliver accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in GL accounting and month-end/year-end closing.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP — mandatory.
• Knowledge of journal entries, accruals, provisions, adjustments, and balance sheet reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end GL accounting and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and close outstanding items.
• Prepare/review P&L and Balance Sheet schedules and support financial statement preparation.
• Ensure accounting and reporting compliance with Indian GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Handle provisions, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, depreciation, and other GL transactions.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and provide required schedules and documentation.
• Support internal controls, financial reporting, and process improvement/automation.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, AP, AR, Tax, and other stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of journal entries, accruals, provisions, adjustments, and balance sheet reconciliation.


• Experience in financial statement preparation, P&L analysis, and audit coordination.


• Exposure to internal controls and controllership activities.


• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle.


• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
