Job summary

Travelopia is seeking a Financial Compliance Analyst to support the Group Financial Compliance Plan across multiple international businesses. You will conduct reviews, assess risk, and report findings to senior stakeholders while collaborating with Finance, Tax, Treasury and leadership worldwide.

The role requires CA/ACCA/CPA with external and internal audit experience, strong IFRS knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/CPA qualified with post-qualification experience in audit and compliance.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and UK statutory financial statements experience.
• Excellent reporting and Excel skills with experience handling large data sets.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior global stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Group Financial Compliance Plan across international businesses.
• Conduct financial compliance reviews and risk-based testing.
• Review balance sheet and financial statements to identify control weaknesses and improvements.
• Produce clear reports for senior stakeholders across the business.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury and leadership teams globally.
• Develop and implement Group accounting policies.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to identify anomalies, fraud risks and control weaknesses in large data sets.

We're looking for a Financial Compliance Analyst to join our Group Finance team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity for an audit and compliance professional who enjoys working with global stakeholders, analysing risks, improving controls and leveraging AI-powered technology to drive better financial compliance outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the delivery of the Group Financial Compliance Plan across multiple international businesses.
• Conduct financial compliance reviews and risk-based testing across the Group.
• Review balance sheet and financial statement areas, identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Produce clear, insightful and accurate reports for senior stakeholders across the business.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury and senior leadership teams globally.
• Support the development and implementation of Group accounting policies.
• Utilise AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude, to identify anomalies, fraud risks and control weaknesses within large data sets.

What You’ll Bring:

• CA/ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified withpost-qualification experience and mandatory external & internal audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, multinational group reporting and UK statutory financial statements.
• Excellent reporting, analytical and Excel skills, with experience handling large data sets.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior global stakeholders.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Experience working in global or multinational organisations is preferred.
• Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Claude within audit, compliance, reporting or finance functions is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Hyperion or BlackLine would be an advantage.
