Job summary

FinThrive, a leading provider of revenue management solutions, seeks a Finance Business Partner in India. You will support multiple product lines, consolidate planning, and present risks, opportunities, and forecast drivers to senior management.

You will develop variance analysis, collaborate with accounting on monthly closes, and build models to enable data-driven decisions. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential; BI tools and SQL are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field; 2–5 years experience.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and strong analytical/quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate analysis into actionable summaries.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; BI tools and SQL knowledge a plus.

Essential Job Functions:

• Primary finance business partner for multiple product lines directly supporting the responsible ELT member. Analysts will be a key member of the team driving growth and product success through analysis and creative go-to-market strategies
• Consolidate and support all planning and reporting processes, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and a multi-year outlook
• Interact and communicate with senior management regarding risks & opportunities, and drivers of forecast variances
• Provide key business insights which facilitate timely and informed decision-making
• Partner with the companys business leaders in assessing and communicating business performance, trends, and strategic trade-offs
• Develop variance analysis reporting that is timely and supports key decision-makers
• Collaborate with accounting during the monthly close process to ensure accuracy of financials and provide detailed variance analysis
• Drive process improvement activities designed to improve performance through evaluating new store openings and new concepts
• Support quarterly financial reporting in conjunction with board and investor requirements
• Creates and analyzes financial reporting and KPIs, as requested.
• Structure, build, and maintain financial and decision-making models to develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
• Identify and drive cross-functional initiatives to improve processes, systems, and automation to help the business scale

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree - Finance, Economics, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience
• Detail-oriented and ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy
• Superb analytical/quantitative and communication skills
• Ownership mentality and demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion, with high attention to detail
• Demonstrated problem solving ability using statistical analysis or large data sets.
• A thoughtful collaborator, and great listener, keenly focused on understanding business challenges, building strong relationships, and driving even stronger outcomes
• An excellent communicator capable of translating complex, nuanced, or detailed analysis into clear, actionable summaries or recommendations
• Comfortable in ambiguity, thrive through change, are highly adaptable, and can create clarity and focus in a dynamic environment
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
• Builder mentality - identifies problems quickly and is eager to build solutions from scratch, not just improve on others work
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
• Tableau/Power BI/Other Business Intelligence tool skills a plus, SQL knowledge a plus
