Job summary

JuneHires seeks a Finance & Operations Executive to streamline farm-level finances across Pune region. The role combines accounting, cost control, and field coordination with travel to farms.

You will maintain MIS reports in Excel, track expenses, manage invoices and GRNs, handle TDS entries, and support budgeting for multi-location operations. Hybrid work with farm visits is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper ledger classification and accuracy of financial data.
• Handle TDS deduction entries on applicable payments.
• Prepare farm-wise MIS reports using Excel and maintain budget-versus-actual tracking.
• Prepare monthly financial summaries for management.
• Analyse expenses and highlight cost variations.
• Assist in farm budgeting and operational cost planning.

Job Title: Finance & Operations Executive

Location: Pune (Local candidates only)

Work Mode: Hybrid (Farm Visits / Bank Visits)

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Compensation: Up to ₹50,000 per month

Role Purpose:

The Finance & Operations Executive will be responsible for maintaining farm-level financial discipline and operational cost tracking across multiple managed farms. The candidate will ensure structured financial visibility, accurate expense tracking, and effective cost control across all farm locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and manage farm-wise expenses across multiple farm clusters (e.g., Farms A-J).
• Track labour costs, seed and material costs, fertilizer and input costs, and other operational expenses.
• Monitor expenses and ensure accurate cost allocation for each farm.

2. Accounting & Documentation

• Record sales and purchase invoices in accounting systems.
• Maintain complete documentation, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), invoices, and delivery records.
• Ensure proper ledger classification and accuracy of financial data.

3. TDS & Compliance

• Handle TDS deduction entries on applicable payments.
• Maintain accurate TDS records and support basic compliance documentation.

4. Reporting & Excel

• Prepare farm-wise MIS reports using Excel.
• Maintain budget-versus-actual cost tracking.
• Prepare monthly financial summaries for management.
• Analyse expenses and highlight cost variations.

5. Budgeting & Planning Support

• Assist in farm budgeting and operational cost planning.
• Help management analyse costs per farm and per crop.
• Support cost-control initiatives and financial planning.

6. Field Coordination

• Travel to farms across the Pune region as required.
• Support on-ground verification of expenses, inventory, and farm operations.
• Coordinate bank visits and vendor-related activities when needed.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in sales and purchase accounting entries.
• Hands-on knowledge of TDS deductions and accounting entries.
• Strong Excel skills, including MIS reporting and basic data analysis.
• Experience in inventory or stock tracking is preferred.
• Ability to manage financial data across multiple locations.
• Willingness to undertake farm visits and work in an operational environment.
