Job summary

Godrej Industries Group invites applications for a Finance–Accounts role focused on payable, receivable, and master data management. You will support invoicing, payments, ageing analysis, and MIS with SAP and Excel while ensuring timely, accurate financial processing.

Experience in SAP and strong Excel skills are essential, with CA Inter preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration with business teams and a focus on process ownership, data accuracy, and timely month‑end closing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience, CA Inter preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and ownership through to closure.

Responsibilities

• SPOC & Business Support: act as single point of contact between business teams and Shared Services for invoices, payments, and master data queries.
• Accounts Payable: verify vendor invoices against POs/GRNs and process payments; ensure timely vendor payments and reconcile statements.
• Accounts Receivable: raise invoices, monitor ageing, and perform cash applications and ledgers reconciliations.
• Master Data Management: validate master data records and share with Finance for record creation.
• Invoice & Payment Validation: validate PO/invoice details for timely processing and resolve payment queries.
• Distributor Claims: support distributor claims management and queries.
• Systems & MIS: assist Finance Manager with SAP/Excel data entry and prepare ageing, DSO/DPO, forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

SPOC & Business Support

• Be the single point of contact between business teams and Shared Services for invoice, payment, collection and master data queries
• Log, track and elevate requests; ensure resolution within agreed timelines
• Share transaction status, account statements and ageing with business teams
• Guide users on PO/GRN and invoice requirements to reduce rework

Accounts Payable

• Verify vendor invoices against POs and GRNs and process them for payment
• Ensure timely vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements
• Ensure correct TDS/GST treatment on invoices

Accounts Receivable

• Raise invoices and credit/debit notes accurately and on time
• Monitor receivables ageing and follow up on collections
• Perform cash application and customer ledger reconciliations

Master Data Management

• Validate master data records (customer, vendor, GL and cost centre) and share with the Finance team for record creation

Invoice & Payment Validation

• Validate goods and services PO, invoice and payment details for timely invoice processing
• Support the team in resolving payment-related queries in a timely manner

Distributor Claims

• Support distributor claims management and queries

Systems & MIS

• Support the Finance Manager with data entry in SAP and Excel
• Prepare MIS reports: ageing, DSO/DPO trends and outstanding and payment forecasts
• Support month-end closing and audits with schedules and documentation

Who are we looking for?

Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience, CA Inter preferred
