Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Hyderabad seeks a Finance Manager - Accounts Payable & Compliance to own the AP cycle, ensure tax compliance, payroll coordination, and intercompany accounting. You will lead a small team and partner with HR, operations, and finance to drive accurate, timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years in core finance, strong Tally/Excel skills, and a solid grasp of Indian taxation and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance.
• 4-8 years of core finance experience with exposure to AP, TDS, GST, and payroll.
• Hands-on experience with Tally and Excel.
• Startup or high-growth environment experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Indian taxation and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle including invoice validation and vendor reconciliation.
• Coordinate monthly payroll with HR and manage trainer payments with tech & operations teams.
• Oversee TDS compliance: deduction, deposit, and 26Q, 24Q filings.
• Ensure GST compliance including GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation, and monthly filings.
• Lead foreign remittance compliance including 15CA/CB forms and bank coordination.
• Maintain books for group companies and perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Support audit processes, monthly closures, and statutory reporting.
• Lead a 4-member team and drive process improvements and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership of Accounts Payable cycle: invoice validation, vendor reconciliation, ageing analysis
• Monthly payroll coordination with HR; manage trainer payments with tech & operations teams
• Oversee TDS compliance: deduction, deposit, return filings (26Q, 24Q)
• GST compliance: GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation, monthly filings
