Job summary

Inoptra Digital in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Manager - Accounts & Finance to own the entire function. You will manage AP/AR, financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance, interfacing with senior management, auditors, and banks.

The role requires a CA/CA Inter with 7–10 years in IT services or similar, strong controls mindset, and proactive ownership. You will drive process improvements, manage working capital, and ensure accurate financial statements while coordinating with delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce with CA/CA Inter qualification preferred.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in IT Services with USA/EU exposure.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and QuickBooks.
• Strong MS Excel skills with reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Indian taxation incl. GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, PF and related compliances.
• Experience in audits and corporate finance, including cash-flow management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own AP, AR, billing/invoicing, banking, payroll coordination and statutory compliance.
• Oversee cash-flow management, financial reporting and audits.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements timely and accurately.
• Ensure tax filings (income tax, GST, TDS, PT, PF) are completed on schedule.
• Manage statutory & tax audits for parent company and subsidiaries.
• Maintain internal financial controls and collaborate with auditors, banks and consultants.
• Handle procurement/inventory for office supplies and maintain asset inventory.
• Coordinate with Delivery and Operations for timely customer billing.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Manager - Accounts & Finance to take complete ownership of the company's Accounts & Finance function.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting and taxation knowledge, experience in managing finance operations independently, preferably within an IT Services organization serving USA/EU customers, and demonstrate a high level of ownership, integrity, attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Qualification & Skills:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce with CA / CA Inter qualification preferred.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in an IT Services organization with USA/EU business exposure.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and financial controls.
• Proficiency in accounting/financial software such as Zoho Books and QuickBooks.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, including reconciliation and financial reporting. Working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation and statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, PF and other applicable compliances.
• Good understanding of corporate finance, working capital and cash-flow management.
• Experience in handling statutory audits, tax audits and financial audits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, employees, customers, auditors, consultants, banks and other external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to independently manage and drive the complete Accounts & Finance function with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), billing and invoicing, banking, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, cash-flow management, financial reporting, audits, management MIS, cashflow, reconciliation.
• Perform daily accounting tasks including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and payroll processing.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely filing of all tax returns, including income tax, GST, TDS, PT & PF.
• Manage Statutory and tax audits for parent company & subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory audits, tax compliance, and ensure adherence to local accounting standards.
• Maintain and enhance internal financial controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (auditors, banks, consultants) to support business operations.
• Handle procurement and inventory management of office supplies, equipment and maintain asset inventory report.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with Delivery, and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate customer billing.
• Establish and maintain appropriate financial controls across accounting and finance processes.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
