Job summary

Client of Peopleplease Consulting is seeking a strategic financial leader to guide growth through robust planning, fundraising, and governance. • CA or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
• 2-3 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in real estate/hospitality.
• Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and financial restructuring.
• Strong understanding of taxation, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with financial models, CRM/ERP systems, and MIS.
• Good leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership:
  • Define and drive the financial strategies for business growth and profitability.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.

• Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Design, analyse and institutionalize financial reports, business performance metrics, and market trends to support decision-making.
  • Implement MIS reports to track business health.
• Risk Management & Compliance:
  • Coordination with government authorities, up to date compliance with tax regulations, GST, corporate governance, and statutory requirements.
  • Implement internal controls to prevent fraud, financial misstatements, and inefficiencies.
• Fundraising & Investor Relations:
  • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors to secure funding and optimize capital structure.
  • Lead equity and debt financing strategies, including negotiations for loans and investment rounds.
• Operational Finance & Cost Control:
  • Monitor project-based financial planning, cost analysis, and cash flow for real estate and hospitality ventures.
  • Implement and drive financial discipline across procurement, supply chain, and vendor management.
  • Work closely with procurement and project management teams to ensure cost-effective operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
• 2-3 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in real estate/ hospitality.
