Job summary

Popular Medicare in India invites an experienced senior finance leader to drive strategic finance, growth, and profitability across multi-location hospital and hospitality units. You will shape capital planning, budgeting, and capex ROI while partnering with promoters on long-term sustainability.

You will oversee revenue cycle management, cost control, KPI tracking, and governance, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and EBITDA improvement through payor mix, pricing, occupancy, ARPOB, and service-line profitability analysis.
• Advise promoters on capital planning, debt-equity structuring, fundraising, and long-term financial sustainability.
• Prepare and review annual budgets, business plans, and financial forecasts for all units.
• Evaluate capex proposals (equipment, new facilities) with ROI and payback analysis.
• Oversee the complete revenue cycle: OPD/IPD billing, TPA/insurance, government schemes (PMJAY, CGHS, ECHS, etc.), claim submission, follow-up, and reducing rejections and receivable days.
• Control costs across pharmacy, consumables, procurement, manpower, and utilities.
• Track KPIs: revenue per bed, ALOS, collection efficiency, debtor days, and department-wise P&L.
• Oversee financial reporting for the hospitality (hotel) unit and other group activities.
• Ensure timely compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, Companies Act, and other applicable statutory and healthcare regulations.
• Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits, and liaise with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulators.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and audit frameworks across locations.
• Manage banking relationships, loan covenants, and lender reporting.
• Implement and manage ERP/HIS-integrated financial systems for multi-location consolidation.
• Establish SOPs for treasury, cash flow management, procurement, and vendor management.
• Provide monthly MIS and dashboards to the promoters and management.
• Lead, mentor, and build the finance and billing teams.
