Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in India is seeking a Finance Professional to manage accounts receivable/payable, ensure GST compliance, and support month-end closing. You will coordinate across hotel locations, assist audits, and handle payroll and vendor reconciliations.

The role requires 2–4 years in hospitality finance, strong Excel skills, and excellent analytical abilities. A 5-day work week and learning opportunities are provided, with employee stay benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or finance; MBA (Finance) or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in hospitality or service sector.
• Knowledge of accounting software (Sun, Osais) and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of GST and statutory compliance related to billing and collections.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across hotel locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

• Monitor cash flow and fund management.

• Assist audits and maintain financial records documentation.
• Support payroll processing and vendor reconciliations.
• Contribute to bank reconciliations, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all financial transactions are recorded timely.
• Assist in preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper fund management.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with IHG policies, SOPs, and local statutory regulations.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Ensure adherence to taxation laws (GST, TDS, etc.).

Payroll & Vendor Management

• Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Coordinate with vendors for reconciliations and payment follow-ups.
• Conduct regular vendor ledger reconciliations.

Reporting & Reconciliation

• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and assist in month-end closing.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
