Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis methodologies.
• Expertise in cost reduction initiatives and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control policies, procedures, and frameworks across the organization.
• Conduct detailed cost and variance analyses to identify deviations from budgeted targets.
• Monitor and track operational expenses, capital expenditures, and overhead costs on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare comprehensive cost reports and financial dashboards for senior management review.
• Identify and evaluate cost reduction opportunities through process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to establish realistic budgets and cost targets.
• Analyze spending trends and provide actionable recommendations for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cost control projects and initiatives to achieve targeted savings and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain and update cost accounting records and financial documentation.
• Participate in budget planning cycles and provide cost forecasting analysis.
• Communicate cost control findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reports.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Executive (Cost Controls Executive) to join our organization in Udaipur, India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive cost control strategies that drive operational efficiency and financial performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify cost reduction opportunities, analyze spending patterns, and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines while maintaining organizational profitability.

• Proven experience in cost accounting, cost control, or financial analysis (minimum 5+ years)

• Expertise in cost reduction initiatives and process optimization
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial management software
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Project management experience with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Preferred: Experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization software
• Preferred: Familiarity with lean or Six Sigma cost optimization methodologies
