Fairmont Udaipur Palace is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive (Cost Controls Executive) to join our pre-opening team in Udaipur, India. You will develop and manage cost control policies, analyze spending patterns, and drive cost efficiency while safeguarding profitability.

You will partner with department heads, monitor expenses, prepare dashboards for senior management and lead cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Finance degree with 5+ years in cost accounting or cost control.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP and financial management software; advanced Excel.
• Ability to lead cost-control projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control policies and frameworks.

• Monitor operating expenses, CAPEX, and overhead costs.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Executive (Cost Controls Executive) to join our organization in Udaipur, India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive cost control strategies that drive operational efficiency and financial performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify cost reduction opportunities, analyze spending patterns, and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines while maintaining organizational profitability.

• Develop and implement cost control policies, procedures, and frameworks across the organization
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and variance analysis to identify deviations from budgeted targets
• Monitor and track operational expenses, capital expenditures, and overhead costs on an ongoing basis
• Prepare comprehensive cost reports and financial dashboards for senior management review
• Identify and evaluate cost reduction opportunities through process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to establish realistic budgets and cost targets
• Analyze spending trends and provide actionable recommendations for cost optimization
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
• Lead cost control projects and initiatives to achieve targeted savings and efficiency improvements
• Maintain and update cost accounting records and financial documentation
• Participate in budget planning cycles and provide cost forecasting analysis
• Communicate cost control findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reports

Qualifications

• Graduate from Finance Domain.
• Proven experience in cost accounting, cost control, or financial analysis (minimum 5+ years)
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• Advanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis methodologies
• Expertise in cost reduction initiatives and process optimization
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial management software
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skill set
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Project management experience with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
• Preferred: Experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization software
• Preferred: Familiarity with lean or Six Sigma cost optimization methodologies
• Preferred: Background in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain cost management
