Job summary

Maxima Apparel Corp. is hiring for an Executive / Sr. Executive - Finance & Accounts to manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and tax/compliance across entities. You will handle inventory reconciliation, inter-division allocations and statutory filings with a focus on accuracy and control.

The role requires hands-on experience in GL, ERP operations, and multi-entity environments, along with strong Excel skills and attention to detail to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance or equivalent, with professional accounting education.
• 2–4 years for Executive or 4–7 years for Sr. Executive in international tax / AP.
• Hands-on multi-entity or international accounting exposure preferred.
• ERP experience with Perfect Fit or Odoo is desirable.
• Advanced MS Excel expertise including pivot tables and reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of VAT/GST/Sales Tax across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations for domestic and international entities.
• Oversee tax/cost accounting and inventory reconciliation.
• Allocate inter-division purchases and ensure statutory compliance filings.
• Monitor VAT/GST/Sales Tax returns and compliance calendar.
• Track input/output credits and perform reconciliations with financials.

Job description

The Executive / Sr. Executive - Finance & Accounts will manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, tax/cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, inter-division purchase allocations, and statutory compliance (VAT/GST/Sales Tax filings) across domestic and international entities. The role demands strong hands-on experience in tax compliance, reconciliation, GL accounting, ERP operations and an eye for detail in multi-entity environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Allocation: Allocate inventory from one entity to multiple entities; maintain opening, movement and closing inventory (including transit time gaps)
• COGS: Prepare and allocate COGS as per purchase, inventory movement and closing inventory
• VAT/Sales Tax Return Filing: File all applicable VAT/GST/Sales Tax returns per the statutory due-date calendar for US, EU, UAE, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Canada, Cyprus and New Zealand; maintain filing/compliance tracker
• Input/Output Credit: Track and maintain records of all input and output credit taken
• Reconciliation: Reconcile all input/output credit factors against financial numbers (revenue/sales, expenses, custom duty/BOE-based input credit)
• Accounts Payable: Support international divisions with booking of expenses, bank and Amex transactions

Eligibility & Requirements

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent; semi-qualified CA/CMA preferred
• Experience: Executive: 2-4 years; Sr. Executive: 4-7 years in international tax / Accounts Payable / cost accounting / GL, with hands-on multi-entity or international accounting exposure
• ERP experience (Perfect Fit / Odoo preferred)
• Advanced MS Excel - reconciliation and pivot tables
• Working knowledge of VAT/GST/Sales Tax compliance across US states, Canada, UAE, EU, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand
• Experience in inventory accounting and inter-company/inter-division transactions
• High attention to detail, ability to handle multiple deadlines and month-end closing pressure, strong communication, and a self-driven approach
