You will support day-to-day accounting, reconcile invoices, generate client bills, maintain financial trackers, and assist with month-end closings and audits. Fresh graduates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated Finance Executive to join our finance team. This entry-level role is ideal for a fresh graduate or someone with up to 1 year of experience looking to build a strong foundation in corporate finance. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, focusing heavily on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), billing, and data management using MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and employee expense reports. Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on collections.
• Billing & Invoicing: Generate and dispatch accurate client invoices in a timely manner. Address and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Data Management & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date financial trackers. Clean, organize, and analyze large transactional datasets using advanced Excel functionalities.
• Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Assist in day-to-day general ledger accounting. Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Team Support: Provide data inputs and documentation support for month-end closings and statutory audits.

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced MS Excel Skills (Non-Negotiable): Must be highly proficient in functions like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Data Filtering, and basic text/logical formulas (IF, AND, OR).
• Core Accounting Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, golden rules of accounting, accrual concepts).
• Process Familiarity: Basic understanding of invoicing workflows, AP/AR cycles, and standard commercial math.

Qualifications & Soft Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance (B.Com in Finance preferred)
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and mathematical calculations to identify formatting errors or ledger mismatches.
• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors/clients.
• Time Management: Ability to manage deadlines effectively during peak billing cycles or month-end periods.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in US Operational shifts (Night Shift).
