Job summary

HR Potential Search is seeking a commercially strong finance professional to drive pricing and policy benchmarking for our Bangalore and Mumbai zonal offices. This role anchors the commercial backbone, ensuring GST/IT hygiene and tight SG&A control while coordinating with senior management.

You will oversee pricing competitiveness, vendor compliance, and GST/ITC processes, with work from office in a 6-day week across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Pricing & Commercial Policy: track competition pricing and policy gaps; regular reporting to senior management on price positioning.
• Review of Expenses: monthly GL updates and SG&A budget vs actuals; ensure expenses stay within approved budgets at zonal level.
• Reconciliation & MIS: establish PO-based payments; vendor reconciliation and ageing control; create balance checks and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• GST and IT Related Activities: GST reconciliation; ITC eligibility checks; ensure vendors have GST and PAN compliance.

Purpose of the Role:

This role is the commercial backbone for the Zone/Region.

You will be responsible for ensuring pricing competitiveness, commercial policy benchmarking, financial control over SG&A, vendor compliance, and statutory GST/Income Tax hygiene at zonal level.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Pricing & Commercial Policy - Track Competition Sell-Out Pricing & Promotions on a regular basis Benchmark competition on Commercial Policy and Process Regular reporting to Senior Management on price positioning and policy gaps
• 2. Review of Expenses - Monthly review of GL accounts and expenses Monthly update on SG&A Budget Vs Actuals Ensure expenses are incurred within approved budget at Zonal / Regional level
• 3. Reconciliation & Analysis (MIS) - Establish PO-based payments at Zonal Office Vendor reconciliation and ageing control Credit Note / Debit Note Pre & Post reconciliation of scheme effectiveness Financial analysis on various zonal/regional level activities
• 4. GST and Income Tax Related Activities - GST Reconciliation ITC availed but not eligible, ITC available but not availed, etc.Taking corrective actions on vendors who have not filed returns Ensure vendors are appointed with valid GST and PAN compliance
