Job summary

Growqai is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts professional to lead end-to-end finance operations in Maharashtra. You will manage statutory compliances, management reporting, and budgeting, working closely with management, auditors, vendors and customers.

The role covers GST, TDS, month- and year-end closing, ERP data integrity, automation initiatives, and preparation of MIS and investor reports to support fundraising and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• MBA/CA/CMA with 5–10 years in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong GST, TDS knowledge and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP and advanced Excel.
• Exposure to investor reporting and fundraising is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with auditors, management and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly MIS including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and variance analysis.
• Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and annual planning.
• Prepare investor reports and management presentations.
• Ensure accurate books, month-/year-end closes, journals and reconciliations.
• Ensure GST, TDS compliance and statutory filings.
• Drive ERP data integrity, automation and process improvements.
• Coordinate audits and strengthen internal controls.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Finance & Accounts professional to manage end-to-end finance operations, statutory compliances, management reporting, and business finance activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with management, auditors, investors, vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & MIS:
  • Prepare monthly MIS including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor key business KPIs and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Prepare budget vs actual reports and departmental performance analysis.
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Investor & Management Reporting:
  • Prepare periodic investor reports and management presentations.
  • Assist in financial modelling, fundraising, due diligence, and data room management.
  • Support Board and management reporting requirements.
• Accounting & Financial Control:
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Review journal entries, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Implement and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.
• GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance:
  • Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, Reconciliations).
  • Manage TDS deductions, payments, return filings, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with consultants and authorities for tax assessments and notices.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory regulations.
• Vendor & Customer Reconciliations:
  • Perform periodic vendor and customer account reconciliations.
  • Resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate accounting records.
  • Monitor receivables and payables aging.
  • Coordinate with business teams for timely collections and payments.
• Banking & Treasury:
  • Manage banking operations, fund flow, and cash flow planning.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital reports.
  • Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for funding requirements.
• Audit & Compliance:
  • Coordinate with statutory, internal, GST, and tax auditors.
  • Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for audits.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance matters.
• ERP & Process Improvement:
  • Work on ERP systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Drive automation initiatives and process improvements.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to improve decision-making.

Qualification & Experience

• MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Exposure to investor reporting and fundraising activities will be an added advantage.
