Job summary

Coforge is seeking an Accounting professional fluent in Spanish or Portuguese to join their Latin team in Greater Noida. The role covers end-to-end accounting operations, journal entries, book closure, and AP/AR processes within a multi-entity environment.

You will collaborate with group entities, ensure compliance with controls, support financial reporting and audits, and leverage ERP systems and Excel to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance Operations.
• Hands-on experience in AP, AR, journal entries, book closure and reconciliations.
• Experience in group-level/shared services/multi-entity accounting environments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
• Spanish or Portuguese language expertise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Pass journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage AP and AR transactions and reconciliations.
• Perform vendor, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with group entities and stakeholders for accounting and reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting professional with experience in accounting operations, book closure, journal entry posting, and end-to-end AP/AR processes. The candidate should have exposure to group-level finance operations and support multiple entities/business units. Expertise with Spanish or Portuguese language proficiency is mandatory as the candidate will be working with the latin team here.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Pass journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions and reconciliations.
