Job summary

Coforge in India is seeking a Finance & Accounting professional with strong experience in AP/AR, journal entries, book closure, and end-to-end accounting operations. Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is mandatory as you will collaborate with the Latin team.

You will coordinate with group entities, ensure accuracy of financial records, assist in month- and year-end closings, and support audits while maintaining internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance Operations.
• Hands-on experience in AP, AR, journal entries, book closure, and reconciliations.
• Experience working in group-level/shared services/multi-entity accounting environments.
• Spanish or Portuguese language expertise is mandatory.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Pass journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions and reconciliations.
