Job summary

Shashwath Solution in Bengaluru is looking for a Field Technician to install broadband and fiber connections at customer sites, configure routers and Wi‑Fi, and troubleshoot connectivity.

You will travel for on-site installations, coordinate with backend teams, maintain service reports, and ensure customer satisfaction with SLA-aligned resolutions. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Basic networking knowledge of routers, LAN, Wi‑Fi, and IP configuration.
• Understanding of fiber optic and broadband connections.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills; ability to travel for field work.

Responsibilities

• Install broadband and fiber connections at customer premises.
• Configure routers and Wi‑Fi devices; troubleshoot speed issues.
• Maintain service reports and coordinate with backend/NOC teams.
• Attend SLA-driven service requests and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job description

• Install broadband and fiber internet connections at customer locations
• Configure routers, modems, Wi‑Fi devices, and networking equipment
• Troubleshoot internet connectivity and speed‑related issues
• Perform fiber cable laying, LAN cabling, and basic network testing
• Attend customer service requests and resolve complaints within SLA timelines
• Coordinate with backend/NOC teams for issue resolution
• Ensure quality installation and customer satisfaction
• Maintain daily service reports and closure updates

Required Skills

• Basic networking knowledge (Router, LAN, Wi‑Fi, IP Configuration)
• Understanding of fiber optic and broadband connections
• Cable crimping and troubleshooting skills preferred
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Ability to travel and work in field operations

Preferred Candidates

• Experience in ISP, Telecom, Broadband, or Fiber Installation
• Freshers with networking knowledge can also apply
