Job description

Responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining telecom services at customer sites. This field‑based role requires strong technical troubleshooting and customer service skills to ensure high-quality broadband and data delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Installation: Set up FTTH (Fiber to the Home), Wi‑Fi routers, and modems at residential and commercial premises.
• Network Testing: Test internet connectivity, perform fiber optic splicing, and ensure optimal bandwidth using diagnostic tools like OTDR and Optical Power Meters.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair network connectivity issues, heavy machinery, or faulty telecommunications equipment.
• Service Delivery: Meet strict company‑defined Turnaround Times (TAT) for new installations and resolve customer complaints.

Job Requirements

• Education: Minimum 10th or 12th pass. An ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical, or Networking is highly preferred.
• Experience: Ranges from freshers to experienced professionals (usually 0 to 2+ years in the telecom or broadband industry).
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Fiber Optic networks, cable routing, and router/modem configuration.
• Requirements: A valid two‑wheeler driving license and a personal bike are typically mandatory for field travel.
• Soft Skills: Ability to explain technical problems simply, multitask, and communicate in local languages.

Compensation & Logistics

• Salary Range: Typically ranges from 20,000 to 27,000 per month (or 2.5 Lakhs to 3.2 Lakhs annually), depending on experience, location, and specific role.
• Benefits: Often includes additional performance incentives, PF, ESIC, and life insurance.

Preferred candidate profile

(ITI, Diploma, 12th pass), level of experience in telecom or fiber networks, have two‑wheeler and driving license.
