Job summary

Teachmint is seeking a Field Service Technician (IFPD) to operate on-site in Pune. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and service IFPD devices at customer locations, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

The role covers hardware diagnostics, software/firmware troubleshooting, and post-repair testing, with a focus on delivering a positive on-site experience and clear RCA reporting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of IFPD hardware servicing.
• Strong troubleshooting of hardware, software, and firmware.
• Familiar with diagnostic tools and multimeters.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites for IFPD installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, replacement and service.
• Diagnose and repair hardware issues related to Power Board, Motherboard, T-Con, LCM, Touch/IR PCB.
• FFCs, OPS, Display, Audio, Camera, and connectivity ports.
• Perform internal hardware inspection, connector/FFC checks, voltage measurements, spare-part replacement, and functional testing.
• Troubleshoot software, firmware, APK, Windows/Android, OPS, and application-related issues.
• Handle basic IT hardware and LAN/network troubleshooting.
• Perform IFPD installation/uninstallation and post-repair testing.
• Collect photos, videos, serial numbers, voltage readings, and technical details and prepare accurate RCA reports.
• Coordinate with the Service/Support team for technical assistance and ensure cases are closed within the defined SLA.
• Ensure proper packing and handover of faulty panels/spares for reverse pickup for the service cases attended.
• Maintain professional customer communication and ensure a positive on-site experience.

Requirements

• Must own a bike/two-wheeler and have a valid driving license.
• Willingness to travel across Pune and nearby customer locations.
• Comfortable working independently at customer sites.
