Job summary

Milacron invites an experienced engineer to join its team in the Raipur region. The role covers end-to-end customer support from machine installation to breakdowns, spare parts and aftermarket sales revenue for the territory.

You will coordinate with customers for pre-installation, implement corrective actions and ensure global machine actions. The position involves installation and servicing of machines, regional training for machine operation, and generating service reports.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• Qualification with hands-on technical training for installation, maintenance and service.
• Experience in installation, troubleshooting and after-sales support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support to customers from installation to breakdown and spare parts.
• Coordinate pre-installation requirements with customers.
• Develop and implement corrective/preventive actions for machines and ensure global actions.
• Install and service machines in the region; support mould trials and machine operation training.
• Prepare service reports and maintain BOM and software backups; generate spare parts recommendations.

Job description

Milacron is looking for a Engineer to join our team in the Chattiasgad, Raipur area. In this position, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end support to customers from the installations of machines to breakdown and spares support, and also responsible for the aftermarket sales revenue for the territory.

Work You’ll Do:

• To Provide End-to-end support to customers from Installation of Machines to breakdown calls, machine problems, Spare Support, Training for Machine Operating, Processing Problems, etc.
• Coordinate pre-installation requirements with customers
• Developing & Implementation of the Corrective / Preventive actions for any Machine & further ensuring the Global Action of All Machines. Responsible for troubleshooting and providing solutions to overcome the problem.
• Responsible for installation and servicing of all machines in the region.
• Providing support to customers for Mould Trials (In–house & on-site) for Machine Shipment.
• Responsible for Assembly of Machines & Machines operations at Customer Site
• Provide training to customers for the Machine Operating & Trouble Shooting of Machine Issue
• Submitting the Field return part to the factory for analysis as well as to recover the cost of warranty of the part.
• Releasing flash for parts failure.
• Ensure customer training and customer care visit.
• Generation of Spare Parts Business & Developing the Spare Parts recommendation
• Preparing & Submission of Service Report for each machine
• Maintaining Software Backup / Hydraulics Circuits & Bill of Material on Service Portal

Position Summary:

• Provide training to customers for the Machine Operating & Trouble Shooting of Machine Issue
• Responsible for retention of existing customers and visiting customers regularly to ensure liaison & converting them into repeat customers,
• Submitting the Field return part to factory for analysis as well as to recover cost of warranty of the part.
• Ensuring compliance to operational control procedure requirements & maintain history file.
• Generation of ERN (Engineering Request Note) for Modification in Machines
• Generation of Spare Parts Business & Developing the Spare Parts recommendation
• Preparing & Submission of Service Report for each machine
• Providing Support & Suggestions to Design, Assembly & Testing Team
• Developing the FOC Spare Kit to Support Sales Engineers.
• Collection of Balance Payments for Spare parts.

Team:

Will be Part of Pune Service team and the working location will be at Raipur.

Basic Qualifications:

BE/ BTech - Electronics & Instrumentation; BE/ BTech - Electrical; BE/ BTech - Mechanical; Diploma in Electronics Engg; Diploma in Elect & Communication Engg; Diploma in Mechanical; Diploma in Mechatronics

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidate with 8 years above with preferably Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics – BE or Diploma Engineering Qualification along with Managerial and Technical skills of - Analytical and logical; Communication and negotiation; Interpersonal and influencing skills; Learning Attitude; Multitask; Organized; Problem solving; Process Driven; Resourceful; Self Initiator; Target oriented and focused; Team working and coordination
